Sunday Skills and Drills
 
6-7pm – Skills & Drills, returning Novice and Pee Wee players (9-12 yrs old)
7-8pm – Skills & Drills, returning Bantam and Midget players (13-17 yrs old)

Registering for Skills & Drills will also entitle players to participate in Skill Development clinics February 23rd and 24th hosted by Trevor Baptiste and Chet Koneczny.

Trevor was the 2018 1st overall draft pick of the Major League Lacrosse Boston Cannons, is a 2019 rostered player for the NLL Philadelphia Wings, was a member of Team USA for the 2018 FIL World Lacrosse Championships and has received many other awards and distinctions already in his young lacrosse career.

Chet is the co-founder of www.laxlife.ca, 2019 rostered member of the NLL’s Philadelphia Wings and has 8 prior years of professional lacrosse under his belt.

He is past Technical Director with Lacrosse Nova Scotia and Lacrosse New Brunswick and is one of Canada’s most highly qualified lacrosse instructors. Additional information on these clinics will be announced soon.

Our Skills & Drills program is for players to work on improving their fundamentals in the off-season. The hour program will be spent focusing on improving players stick work by working on both hands with lots of reps and individual feedback. Grouped in small groups, we’ll break down fundamentals and work on stickwork, stick protection and enhance skills. No matter the player’s skill level, our goal is to help them improve their ball handling skills to become a better player. Players will also work on fundamental skills such as effective dodging, competitive ground balls & 50/50’s, creative shooting, defensive positioning and footwork, goalie positioning and more. All skill levels are welcome.
